Welcome to Worship for this All Saints Day, November 1st, 2020.
We are happy you have joined us, whether you were able to join us here in person or continue to join us virtually, YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!
Our readings for today are: Revelation 7:9-17; Psalm 34:1-10, 22; 1 John 3:1-3; Matthew 5:1-12
All the readings for this Sunday announce the blessed company of the saints of God. Both the Gospel and the psalm describe the nature of this happiness and those to whom it is given. The first letter of John quietly and modestly extends the thought: if we are children of God now, consider how it will be with us when Christ appears, and we share his likeness. The story from Revelation envisions that future glory of the saints who have endured, purified by having been bathed in the life, death, and resurrection of Christ Jesus.
