Viruses and Communion

If you’re concerned about receiving Communion during the flu and virus season, first and foremost remember that our hands must be clean. Please use the hand sanitizer available at the top of the aisle and assure that children use it as well. Please know that receiving Communion in one kind (Bread only) is considered full communion. If you prefer not to receive the Wine, simply touch the bottom of the Chalice as it is offered to you or cross your arms across your chest. Please do not leave the Communion rail before the Chalice passes you.

Both Archbishop Anne (our Diocesan Bishop) and Archbishop Linda (our Primate) have written letters concerning the Corona Virus which are posted in the Algoma Room.
