Twenty-Second Sunday after Pentecost ~ Service of Holy Eucharist

Welcome to our Worship Celebration for the Twenty-Second Sunday after Pentecost, Sunday, October 24th, 2021 (Service of Holy Eucharist)

You are welcome to join us in person on Sunday mornings at 10:30. While reserved seating is not required at this point, all Covid protocols (masks must be worn, use of hand sanitizer, social distancing, contact tracing etc.) still apply.

ALL ARE WELCOME HERE!

THE READINGS: Job 42:1-6, 10-17; Psalm 34:1-8; Hebrews 7:23-28; Mark 10:46-52

SUMMARY OF THE READINGS: We conclude our journey with Job this week as we hear his candid, but penitent reply to the Lord which concludes the Book of Job. Faith in God who answers the prayers of the needy and rescues them from affliction is expressed in the verses from Psalm 34. In the Letter to the Hebrews, Jesus’ high priesthood is compared with the Levitical priesthood and is found to be unique. Salvation comes to Bartimaeus in the gospel story from Mark, as the blind beggar exhibits faith sufficient to regain his sight.

QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION: What particular vision do you seek? What do you want to understand? And when you do see and understand, how will that knowledge, that insight, pull you closer to following Jesus on the way of faith and peace?

If you wish to follow along with the order of service as you watch, you can do so by going to our website, www.epiphanysudbury.org, and scroll to the bottom of the page under Recent Announcements.

Please feel free to share the link to this worship service with anyone you feel may want to worship with us, or who may be seeking a spiritual home.
