Dear Epiphanites:
We are sorry to announce the death of long-time Epiphany and St. John’s Copper Cliff member, Kay Peters. We have prayed for Kay every Sunday since I came aboard as rector in 2011. I enjoyed visiting her very much and will miss her. There will be no visitation or funeral.
ALMIGHTY God, with whom do live the spirits of them that depart hence in the Lord, and with whom the souls of the faithful are in joy and felicity: We praise and magnify thy holy Name for all thy servants who have finished their course and kept the faith; and committing our sister Kay to thy gracious keeping, we pray that we with her, and with all those that are departed In the true faith of thy holy Name, may have our perfect consummation and bliss, both in body and soul, In thy eternal and everlasting glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
