Help Needed: Members of the Green Team have been working to get the Memorial Garden back in shape and to stay ahead of the ubiquitous garbage that the four winds blow into our nooks.
Now the Meditation Garden needs a bit of TLC. It was ignored completely last year as all the construction materials got stored there. Despite the hot dry summer, weeds still seem to find the energy to grow and are fairly prolific between the lovely flagstones in that special space. If you are able to give the Green Team a hand with this, please let +Tom know or just show up at a time the office is open to get the key to the garden gate and have a go at those weeds!
More Help Needed: Now that the hot humid weather may be behind us, we are looking for a volunteer or two to take on the sanding and repainting of the balcony railing and the railings on the two sets of stairs leading up from Larch Street. All the equipment for this task is already in the office just waiting for someone who has the time and interest to work outside in the next little while. Please speak with one of the wardens if you are willing to do some or all of this task.
