Our Facilities
Church Office
Office

The wing that includes the church office, Sunday School and meeting rooms was added when the church was rebuilt following the 1987 fire.

Office Complex and Sunday School

On the upper floor of the complex, we find the church office which houses the offices of the Parish Administrator, The Rector and the Choir Director/Organist. There is also a Curate's Office, which is used these days as a small meeting room. The office also houses one of the best, and growing, Christian libraries in northern Ontario.

Algoma Room
Algoma Room

Next to the office, and off the church's lobby, is the "Algoma Room" named after the Diocese of Algoma. This is the parish's board room and main meeting room. It also includes a well used kitchenette. In the board room there is a "rogue's gallery" of the Epiphany's clergy and the Diocesan Bishops. Off the Algoma Room is a large, outdoor balcony, always a favourite site in the summer.

Children's Day Care Centre

To the left of the lobby is the children's Day Care Centre. The centre is used every day by the "English as a Second Language" program that rents space in the church. Of course, it is also used for Sunday services. and we are pleased to employ a qualified child care worker to care for the littlest children each week.

Classroom
Lower Level

Downstairs in the new wing one will find a large hall, called the "Sunday School Room". As well as being used for Sunday classes, it is also used as a meeting room for various groups and every day as a classroom for the "English as a Second Language" school that has been using our facilities for some years. As well, there are offices rented to the "English as a Second Language" program. A room called the "Choir Room" is available for smaller groups. A small "Vestry" is also on this floor, that is used for vesting of the Parish Layreaders and Server's Guild. Large washrooms are also available in this downstairs area.

Phoenix Hall
Kitchen

Under the church, and through a downstairs lobby, one enters into the large parish hall, named the "Phoenix Hall", after the mythical bird that rose out of its ashes. This hall is well used for parish gatherings and various public receptions and festivities. A large kitchen and more washroom facilities are part of the hall.
