NEXT STEPS

  • The Planning Committee should revise and/or confirm this document.
  • This Document should be reviewed with the Wardens and Parish Advisory Committee.
  • With the support of the Wardens and the PAC, a Congregational meeting should be held, perhaps with a facilitator, to present the Plan to members of The Epiphany and to “get them on board”. This meeting should be carefully planned and should also be used as an opportunity to recruit volunteers for the various Commissions.
  • The Commissions should be formed, Chairs appointed and the work to implement the plan should begin.
  • The Finance Committee should be asked to work with the Commissions to develop a budget for the Plan.
  • The Finance Committee will also have to develop sources of funding that will determine the timing of implementation of the various initiatives. Funding sources could include; current resources, grant opportunities, fundraising events and a capital campaign.
  • The Parish Advisory Committee should develop a process to monitor the process of the Commissions to execute the Plan in a timely and responsible manner.
