The Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Green
The Reverend Doctor Elizabeth Green is an Anglican priest and professional biblical storyteller. In 2015 she completed her Doctorate of Ministry at United Theological Seminary, under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Boomershine, professor, author and founder of the International Network of Biblical Storytellers.
Rev. Elizabeth has served on the Board of Directors for the Network of Biblical Storytellers, and is a member of the Scholar’s Seminar within the Network. Along with completing her dissertation entitled, Transmediatization: A New Paradigm for Canadian Anglican Liturgy and Worship, Elizabeth has created and led a variety of biblical storytelling workshops.
Originally from the Diocese of Toronto, Rev. Elizabeth has served as the Incumbent for the Parish of Cavan & Manvers, for St. Giles, Barrie, and for All Saints, King City. Rev. Elizabeth has also served as Regional Dean for Holland Landing in the episcopal area of York-Simcoe in the Diocese of Toronto.
Both Elizabeth and her husband Kevin are very happy to be living Sudbury. They are very passionate for the outdoors and especially enjoy hiking, swimming and canoeing. Together they have two cats – Silas and Mason.
Rev. Elizabeth is looking forward to furthering her ministry at the Church of the Epiphany, as we now journey together in Christian faith and community.
